ABOUT MY BLOG
Over the past few years, I've contemplated what I'm interested in, what I find fascinating, and what I want to learn more about. I've looked into graphic design, web development, clinical psychology, and data science, and more. However, one of the things that they all had in common, which I had never realized before, was the relationship between people and technology. Whether it was about user contentment and interaction, with graphic design and web development, or the genuine study of people's thinking, with psychology, I always looked for ways to combine both topics. I attended a pre-college program at Brown University on the topic of Science, Technology, and Society (STS). It opened my eyes to a completely new world of looking at society and its effects on technology and vice versa -- technology's effect on society. Then I came across the field of anthropology, specifically a subfield called digital anthropology. Digital Anthropology is the study of people and digital technologies, their interdependence, and the effects of one on the other, and it combines everything I am interested in into one field.

With this blog, I hope to learn not only about the field of digital anthropology or any related topics - but also about myself. I will play into my strengths and weaknesses through research, writing, and collection of ideas, and I hope to create something great out of them. My main goal is to achieve maximum skill or eloquence through my writing but to learn and grow throughout the process, and use this blog as a catalyst for it.
